Discover Päijänne National Park on the magnificient Kelvenne ridge island. . You can get to the island from the Padasjoki Kiuasniemi Marina onboard m/s Jenni-Maria III.
Kelvenne is one of Finland's largest and most magnificent ridge islands. The hiking trail through the island is eight kilometers long. There are several campfire sites along the route. It is also worth taking a swimsuit with you, as there are wonderful sandy lagoon beaches on the island, which are nice to take a dip in the Päijänne waves.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays, our beach is on the southern tip of the island in Kirkkosalmi, where there is a campfire site and a dry closet. The beautiful sandy beach is also suitable for children and the terrain is very flat. For example, you can hike along the hiking trails to Hinttolanhiekat (1.9 km) or to a pond (3 km) along the guided trail. Departures from Padasjoki at 9:00 and 13:30. Return from Kelvenne to Padasjoki at 11:30 and 16:00.
On Fridays, we drive to the northern tip of the island in Likolahti. There is also a beautiful sandy beach with a campfire site and a dry closet. The magnificent sandy beach of Isohieta is less than a mile away and the scenic Karhunkämmen lagoon is 2 km away. Departure from Padasjoki at 10:00, return from Kelvenne to Padasjoki at 19:00. Please note that the boat does not run on Fri 26 July.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays, you can stay for a night or a couple, so you can hike and camp and head back to Padasjoki from Likolahti on Friday.

Reservations no later than 12 noon on the previous day. After booking, you will receive a confirmation email, which will serve as a ticket for the cruise. You can either print the confirmation or display it on your mobile phone screen. Cancellations are free of charge until 12 noon on the previous day, after which a 100% charge will be charged.
