Päijännetalo includes an exhibition of the history of fishing in Finland from the Stone Age to the modern times.
At Päijännetalo is information about development of lure company Rapala from a cottage to the world-famous enterprise, living fish of lake Päijänne, river crayfish and signal crayfish with their young as well as a presentation of the large water tunnel Päijännetunneli. Along with the fishing museum is guidance for Päijänne National Park and municipal tourist info. Päijännetalo is open during the summer time.
