Messilä located in Hollola, is the largest ski resort in Southern Finland. 10 slopes and 9 lifts for skiers of different levels! In Messilä, you can stay in a manor area that breathes the atmosphere of the olden days. The distance from the center of Lahti to Messilä is only about 9 kilometers.
Messilä offers many different cottage and old store room accommodations near the slopes. You can stay in the Hotel, the Old store rooms and -cottages in the court yard area, or the Log cabins located between the two ski slopes. Breakfast is included in the price of the rooms and old store cottages in the winter season.
Messilä's Kartano- and Market restaurants operate by order for meeting and party guests all year round. The wonderful surrounding nature and the services offered by Messilä, form a versatile whole. During the winter season, the Bistro serves a warm atmosphere and different delicacies according to the opening hours of the ski slopes, and Kahvila Laaso serves customers when the Laaso ski slope is open.
OLD STORE ROOMS AND HOTEL ROOMS
The old store rooms in the manor yard, as well as Messilä’s hotel rooms offer accommodation right at the base of Messilä’s slopes. The largest old store room can house six guests. All rooms have a toilet, TV and a shower.
OLD STORE COTTAGES, 2 bedrooms
There are six old store cottages in the area of Messilä's central yard, which offer accommodation for a maximum of four people. The cottages have two bedrooms, a kitchenette with a microwave, hotplates, coffee maker, kettle, dishes, fridge and TV, shower and toilet.
LOG CABINS, 2 bedrooms and a loft
The log cabins located in the cottage village between two ski slopes have a living room, a fireplace, two bedrooms, a loft, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet, a TV, a clothes drying cabinet and an electric sauna. The size of the log cabin is about 70 m² with terraces.
YLÖSTALO, 5 bedrooms
The two-storey villa Ylöstalo offers accommodation for up to ten guests. Located between the Manor and Bistro restaurants, Ylöstalo is excellently equipped to host both private guests and business meetings. The Ylöstalo has a well-equipped kitchen, living room, five bedrooms with twin beds, utility room, electric sauna, three toilets, two bathrooms and a dressing room.
